We are excited about the opportunity to hold the conference of the Israeli Geological Society physically, in the city of Yeruham, which will host us with warmth and love. So far more than 250 participants have confirmed their arrival!
The conference program is very busy, so special care must be taken with the schedules throughout the conference.
Opening of the conference:
Registration and reception for the conference will take place at the entrance to the Mindst building, starting at 8:30 p.m.
At 10:00 (exactly!) The opening session of the conference will begin, which will take place in the auditorium of the Hall of Culture, a 5-minute walk away. Schedules must be adhered to.
Green daughter participation:
According to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, a green card commitment to hold conferences, participation is conditional on the presentation of a certificate of vaccination or recovery or the presentation of a negative corona test performed on the day of arrival at the conference.
The conference will have four sessions at the same time: three halls in the Maidenst building (rest, mishash, and rowing) and a fourth hall (Avnon) in the conservatory building, adjacent to the community center.
Elections to the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee:
Elections to the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee will be conducted by scanning a barcode at the conference registration booth.

This year the poster session will be held in two parts: the first part of short lectures to all conference participants in the Mishash Hall in Mindest and part two a poster display in the lobby of Mindst (after dinner, on beers). Reminder to all poster presenters to send an e-mail to Sarit Ashkenazi- Polybuda (Sarit@adssc.org) One slide for the short lecture on the poster until 28.4.
Python and GMT Workshop:
The workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 5 at the Mishash Hall, in the Maidenst Building from 9:00 to 14:00.
Workshop participants must arrive with a personal computer pre-installed with the following software:

The shuttle to the conference on May 3 will depart from the Geological Survey of Jerusalem at 6:30 a.m., with pick-up from Shoresh Junction, Latrun Junction and North Railway Station in Be'er Sheva.
