An in-depth tour led by Yoav Avni, Arif-Karchum/the tour is paid and subject to military approval

The tour presents the main geological structures in the area in light of the new geological mapping carried out in recent years. This is a tour designed for those with a moderate to high level of difficulty, with long walking sections up to 18 km per day.

The cost includes insurance, transportation from Mitzpe Ramon and back. Tour booklet and food except for lunch on the first day and dinner on the last day.

The purpose of the in-depth tour is to spark a lively discussion on the topics that will be presented on the tour and will be enjoyed by the participants during the stations. There is walking in the area and overnight stays in campsites. In fact, this is a "walking and talking workshop". Of course, the entire activity has an important social aspect, such as the formation of the community of members of the Geological Society, and also general education for those 

which is not directly involved in the field and finally creating a tradition of depth tours (it is almost  three days!).
